l(professional ski instructors in america) and earn certifications. At the end of the year I took the level one alpine exam and earned my level one alpine certification this year I plan to go for level two alpine and evel one telemark. I also plan to work part time as a ski instuctor. I have lived in Colorado my entire life and the roaring fork valley since I was three. My dad was a ski racer on the us ski team then was a ski instructor until he died in 2011. My mom works at the viceroy in snowmass and is a massage therapist. Throughout my life I have struggled with a neurogenic club foot which I have had 8 surgeries on and have to constantly do physical therapy so I can continue to live a normal life. Skiing has been a major factor in keeping my leg strong enough to function and is a lot of motivation to work at it. I have never like academics in school I always want to be out side doing something.
